Tag-driven collections. Every link, video, note, and todo that shares a tag gathers on one page — your topics, curated as you work.

One page per topic

The Library flips your workspace inside out. Instead of browsing by kind — notes here, tasks there, links somewhere else — you browse by topic. Pick a tag and everything that carries it gathers on a single page: captured links, videos, images, notes, and todos, side by side.

You don’t file anything to make this happen. Tag a note while writing, tag a todo on the board, tag a link as you capture it — the Library assembles itself from the tags you were already using.

The tag rail

The left rail lists your tags, each with a live count of how many items carry it. Click one to open its page. The New tag… row at the bottom creates a tag right there — type a name, pick nothing else, done. (Duplicate names are caught with a friendly nudge.)

A tag’s page

Each tag page opens with a spine in the tag’s color, the item count, and an editable one-line description — write what the tag is about and it saves as you go. It’s a small thing, but it turns a label into a curated collection.

Below that, filter pills narrow the gallery by kind: all, videos, links, images, notes, todos. Pills only appear for kinds the tag actually contains, each with its own count.

Items display as a gallery of typed cards:

  • Videos — YouTube and Vimeo captures show a thumbnail with a play button; the player loads only when you tap, so the page stays fast (and privacy-friendly embeds are used)
  • Links — title, site, and description pulled from the page, with its thumbnail
  • Notes and todos — open in their own tabs with one click, ready to edit

Getting things into the Library

  • Tag notes and todos anywhere you work with them — the tag picker in Organize supports multiple tags per item
  • Paste a URL into Quick Capture — it becomes a link capture instantly, no AI round-trip; tag it and it lands here
  • Tag sources from their cards — uploaded files join the collection too

An empty tag page tells you exactly this: tag a note or todo with it, or paste a link in Quick Capture and tag the capture — everything gathers here.

Why it works

Tags in CoachKeeper are shared across everything — the same tags color your board swimlanes, your calendar events, and your Library shelves. Lane counts on the board agree with Library counts, because they’re counting the same memberships. One tagging habit, three payoffs.
